About Marcia Light

Counselor, CMHC (she, her) Verified by Psychology Today

Hello, I’m Marcia Light, Clinical Mental Health Counselor. As a dedicated counselor, I have spent years helping clients gain clarity, uncover their strengths, and reach their full potential. Through our work together, clients develop effective strategies to achieve their goals and enhance their overall well-being. While life can be challenging and emotions sometimes interfere, I help individuals break free from negative patterns of thinking, feeling, or behaving that may leave them feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

My expertise is grounded in evidence-based practices that assist clients in overcoming difficulties such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and low self-esteem. I work with clients to cultivate inner peace, strengthen their sense of self, increase self-awareness, and establish a more balanced lifestyle.

I am committed to providing a compassionate, non-judgmental, and safe space that promotes deep healing. My goal is to support, inspire, and guide individuals through transformative experiences that lead to lasting change. Originally from Brazil, I have lived in the United States for the past 33 years. My native language is Portuguese, and I am also fluent in Spanish.
